Construction :

The SF6 type Load Break Switches are manufactured suitable for free standing
enclosed in galvanised sheet steel enclosure. The PCES SF6 2463025 LBS is fully type tested as
per IEC- 62271-100. The total cubicle is architecturally divided into independent compartments.
The switch compartment is leak proof epoxy container in which making and breaking will
take place in insulating and arc-extinguishing medium Sulfur Hexafluoride gas (SF6). Due to SF6
media the size of the switchgear is compact.

The bus bar compartment is located in the upper part of the cubicle, is also used to make
electrical connection between the cubicles. Cable termination compartment is located in the lower part of the cubicle and also contains the earth switch which is interlocked with main switch.

The control compartment is located in the upper part of the cubicle and contains the
terminal blocks with control signals properly identified. The operation interface is located on the front part includes a customised mimic diagram for each type of cubicle. It provides access to manual operation of the disconnect driving mechanism, spring charging and indications
